Adjunct Faculty: Herbalism Diploma: All teaching faculty at the Franklin Institute of Wellness must hold a minimum of a 4 year degree in a scientific field and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a field related to botanicals. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive training in herbalism with an emphasis on an evidence-based approach, and an interest in learning and participating in the research process. Graduate research experience preferred but not required. Responsibilities to include teaching individual courses by quarterly assignment with minimal travel to the Franklin teaching facility required.
Workshop Instructors: Must be local to Nashville or willing to travel. Community workshops are taught by FIW instructors as well as local professionals in related fields. If you have expertise related to herbs, essential oils, or natural health and would like to teach classes and workshops offered to the local community, please submit a CV which includes all relevant experience and a full course proposal including a tentative course title, duration of the class, and a general outline.
Marketing Director: We have an opening for someone with experience and expertise in social media management, copywriting, design and formatting of posters/catalogs, and networking skills. Nashville locals preferred, but an ideal candidate who works well by distance will also be considered. If you have a bubbling personality, an eye for style, work well with others, and enjoy strategizing new partnerships, this position may be a great fit for you! Responsibilities to include management of social media networks, drafting and development of promotional posters and graphics, and implementing partnerships with local organizations. Minimal travel may be required, particularly for an out-of-town candidate.
