Continuing Education Short Course: Clinical Skills for Natural Health Professionals
Supercritical CO2 extracts are often recognized as superior plant extracts that are used in both herbalism and aromatherapy practices. In this 3-day course, you will learn more about this emerging multidisciplinary subject with an emphasis on scientific evidence for practical application. The fully online course takes you through the plant extraction method, the chemical variations in essential oils, CO2s, and other herbal extracts, and the preparation of these herbal ingredients for health promotion. An emphasis is placed on scientific evidence and applications for both herbalism and aromatherapy.
By the end of the course, you will be fully empowered to integrate CO2 extracts into your herbal, aromatherapy, or medical practice–or into a healthier lifestyle for personal wellness. Successful completion includes a Certificate of Completion from the Franklin Institute of Wellness. The certificate of completion specifies that you have successfully completed 18 contact hours of college education on Supercritical CO2 Extracts. Because FIW is an approved school with NAHA, CEUs can be used for renewal of NAHA professional membership. As a fully authorized postsecondary institution, FIW CEUs can also be used to renew other professional memberships and licenses.
